Motor Camp Wildlife & Nature

Wake to the sound of birdsong! Our motor camp is bordered by rainforests which are alive with natives birdlife such as kereru, tui, bellbirds, weka and more. Go for a short stroll in the rainforest and you’re likely to attract a tiny piwakawaka (fantail) who will flit about you trying to catch any small flying insects you disturb.

Our motor camp is located within short walking distance of fishing, swimming or boating at the lakefront, which is just a few hundred metres away. Local walks and the stunning swingbridge over the Arnold River are just a few minutes walk from our place.
